Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dick Nickson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Nickson misses.
Dick Nickson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nickson lunges at Johnson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Johnson's hand.
It looks like Rick Johnson has been cut.
Johnson blocks a jab.
Nickson swinging wilding here.
Nickson cracks Johnson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nickson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Johnson to stand back up!
Johnson is rocked!
No luck for Johnson with that takedown attempt.
Johnson is still on wobbly legs! Can Nickson finish him?
Johnson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nickson wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.
Johnson seems to have recovered his senses.
Nickson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nickson moves into range and clinches up with Johnson.
Nickson has had enough of the clinch but Johnson keeps him there for the moment.
Nickson with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Nickson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Johnson blocks it with crossed arms.
Nickson tries a knee to the head but Johnson blocks it.
Nickson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nickson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nickson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson shoots in but no luck this time.
Dick Nickson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Johnson.
Nickson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nickson tries to clinch up but Johnson circles away and keeps his distance.

Nickson misses with a series of wild punches.
Johnson shoots in and bounces Nickson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Johnson looks gassed!
Johnson won't allow Nickson to get back to his feet.

Nickson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Johnson moves into the clinch.
Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Johnson tries to break the clinch but Nickson is controlling the position.
Nickson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nickson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Johnson tries for a takedown but Nickson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Nickson gets the takedown into side control.
Johnson is trying to control Nickson's posture but Nickson avoids it.
Nickson decides to stand back up. Nickson steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet.
Nickson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Nickson misses with a two punch combination.
Nickson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nickson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Johnson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Nickson prevents a takedown attempt there.
Johnson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Nickson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nickson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice combo by Nickson! Oh, that's hurt him - Johnson falls to the canvas and Nickson follows him into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nickson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nickson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Johnson wants to get back to his feet but Nickson drags him back down.
Johnson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Nickson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Nickson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Nickson has control of Johnson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Johnson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Johnson is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Nickson trying to control but he's not successful this time.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nickson lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Johnson hang on?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nickson tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nickson circles away.
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Nickson, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Nickson against the cage but Nickson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Johnson bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Nickson comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Johnson falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Johnson was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dick Nickson!
