Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krystian Soszynski (ranked 261 p4p, 36 weight class) and John Muir (ranked 199 p4p, 27 weight class). Soszynski comes into the arena with Fire and Flame by Rotting Christ blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soszynski walks into a jab.
It looks like Krystian Soszynski has been cut.
John Muir seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soszynski with a nice cross.
Soszynski uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Muir.
Muir on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Soszynski cracks Muir with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Soszynski has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Muir to stand back up!
Muir is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Soszynski throws out a loose jab but Muir uses good head movement to avoid it.
Muir flicks out a counter leg kick but Soszynski steps away.
Muir is still on wobbly legs! Can Soszynski finish him?
Soszynski cracks Muir with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Muir tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Soszynski pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Muir is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krystian Soszynski!
