Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rui Gomes (ranked 4133 p4p, 456 weight class) and William Shitlord (ranked 4373 p4p, 476 weight class). William Shitlord is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomes moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Shitlord cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Gomes's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shitlord connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gomes scrambles back to his feet.

Gomes creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Shitlord sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

You can see the frustration on Shitlord's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gomes looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Shitlord might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gomes connects with a nice short shot to Shitlord's temple.
Shitlord really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gomes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
