Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Carlton Lassiter (ranked 3857 p4p, 337 weight class) and Shin Dong Hyuk (ranked 3269 p4p, 303 weight class). This should be a great matchup!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the featherweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 2 losses; Carlton Lassiter! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Shin Dong Hyuk! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dong Hyuk darts in looking for a takedown but Lassiter gets double underhooks and turns Dong Hyuk into the ropes. Lassiter gets tackled into the ropes by Dong Hyuk. Dong Hyuk maintains the clinch. Dong Hyuk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. Lassiter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dong Hyuk is just riding it out for now. Lassiter eventually gives up the hold. Dong Hyuk felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lassiter wants to escape the position.
