Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Devin Alvis Iii (ranked 5802 p4p, 478 weight class) and Tyler Dunne (ranked 4526 p4p, 450 weight class). Tyler Dunne has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devin Alvis Iii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Dunne! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunne drives through with a takedown into guard. Alvis Iii wriggles free and stands up. Alvis Iii will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dunne looks like he wants to counter punch here. Dunne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Alvis Iii is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dunne dives into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alvis Iii is trying to control Dunne's posture but Dunne avoids it. Dunne tries to get to his feet but Alvis Iii is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Dunne in his guard. Alvis Iii can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dunne controls the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alvis Iii looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dunne controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Dunne wants to stand but Alvis Iii has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Dunne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dunne is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dunne tries to stand but Alvis Iii is controlling from the bottom. Dunne won't allow Alvis Iii to sweep him here. Dunne engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Dunne darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Dunne looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alvis Iii with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvis Iii looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dunne slips a nice elbow through Alvis Iii's hands, connecting with Alvis Iii's forehead. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dunne in particular looking to stall. Alvis Iii trying to control here.
Dunne is working for a kimura but Alvis Iii is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Dunne connects with a nice short shot to Alvis Iii's temple. Alvis Iii throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Dunne content to control rather than advance. Alvis Iii has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dunne is working away from the top position though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dunne controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Dunne dominated that round. That's time! Alvis Iii's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Good work by Alvis Iii as he checks the leg kick. As Dunne tries to get set, Alvis Iii tries to push him back and clinch up but Dunne manages to avoid the attempt. Devin Alvis Iii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Alvis Iii tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dunne swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dunne with the counter takedown but Alvis Iii avoids it easily. Alvis Iii stuffs the takedown. Alvis Iii tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dunne manages to circle out of the way. Dunne misses with a series of wild punches.
Alvis Iii shoots for a double leg takedown but Dunne sprawls well. He's pushed Alvis Iii's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Alvis Iii shoots in but no luck this time. Dunne has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Alvis Iii moves into the clinch. Dunne tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunne is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Alvis Iii is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dunne is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Alvis Iii to the mat. Alvis Iii regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dunne makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunne stays in close to Alvis Iii's body and controls the position. Alvis Iii really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Alvis Iii has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dunne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alvis Iii is on top in guard.
Dunne is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Alvis Iii looking to sit in guard and control but Dunne gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunne has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Alvis Iii is proving hard to escape from. Dunne passes Alvis Iii's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Alvis Iii has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dunne is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dunne seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Dunne is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunne is looking for a kimura but Alvis Iii is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dunne to get the leverage. Alvis Iii has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dunne is working away from the top position though. Alvis Iii tries to kick Dunne off in order to stand up. Dunne Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Dunne is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Alvis Iii's shoulder. That is not cool. Dunne lands a few punches from side control. Tyler Dunne has got the better of the ground game so far. Dunne is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Alvis Iii knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dunne cracks Alvis Iii with a big right hand but Alvis Iii just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Dunne advances to mount. Dunne looking to control and managing it successfully. Alvis Iii in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dunne looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Dunne showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Dunne looks to land a combination but Alvis Iii avoids it well. As Dunne looks to move away, Alvis Iii throws a big counter combo but Dunne just gets out of the way. Dunne throws a right and a left that both miss. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dunne drives through with a takedown into guard. Dunne wants to get up but he can't break Alvis Iii's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Alvis Iii is trying to keep Dunne in close.
Alvis Iii will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dunne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dunne pushes down on Alvis Iii's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dunne controlling the pace. Alvis Iii trying to hold on to Dunne's head to control him but Dunne postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dunne is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Alvis Iii trying to control from the bottom.
Dunne looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Dunne controlling the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Alvis Iii gets tackled into the cage by Dunne. Dunne maintains the clinch. Alvis Iii fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devin Alvis Iii. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dunne turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Dunne manages to end up in side control. Dunne is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Alvis Iii's shoulder. That is not cool.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alvis Iii takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Alvis Iii takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Alvis Iii wants to control but Dunne postures up. Dunne advances nicely into full mount. Dunne controlling from mount. Alvis Iii keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alvis Iii reaches up to try and control the position but Dunne seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Alvis Iii rolls and tries to escape and now Dunne has his back!
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Dunne lands a shot to the head. Alvis Iii is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dunne gets his way!
Devin Alvis Iii has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tyler Dunne is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dunne has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Alvis Iii is defending well but eventually Dunne manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Alvis Iii has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
