Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Stackhouse (ranked 422 p4p, 54 weight class) and Julio Cesar Sitsongrit (ranked 475 p4p, 61 weight class). Stackhouse comes to the cage accompanied by True Blood. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julio Cesar Sitsongrit!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Stackhouse as Sitsongrit shoots in.

Stackhouse closes the distance and clinches.

Sitsongrit jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stackhouse walks away with a smile on his face. Sitsongrit gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sitsongrit has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stackhouse is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sitsongrit.

Stackhouse is sitting in close to Sitsongrit's body. Sitsongrit has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Stackhouse is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Stackhouse is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Sitsongrit.
