Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Balder Bull (ranked 968 p4p, 140 weight class) and Ronnie White (ranked 421 p4p, 66 weight class). White has chosen The Bleeding as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Balder Bull! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronnie White! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White lands with a hook. Bull tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. White has managed to clinch.
Bull breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. White clinches. White throws a punch but it's blocked by Bull. Bull is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. White is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bull gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Bull works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
White wants the takedown. Bull is fighting it off but White persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Bull's guard against the cage. White with a flurry of punches that miss. Bull working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from White. Bull controlling White's posture. White has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. White stopping the sweep attempt from Bull. White pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bull is keeping the position for now. Bull is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Punch Out Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Bull knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for White on the ground. White throws a strike but Bull rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. White is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bull won't allow White to sweep him here. White bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bull's guard. White working some strikes from top position. White looking to pass the guard. White lands a couple of digs. Bull not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
White trying to control but Bull is working from the bottom. White is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. White lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bull can't keep his opponent in guard - White advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. White looks to score some points with some ground and pound. White missing with the ground and pound from half guard. White winds up and cracks Bull with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Bull keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. White is thwarting Bull's attempts to control the position. White content to control rather than advance. White missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. White scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. White trying to control from half guard but Bull is working away. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. White connects with a nice short shot to Bull's temple.
Bull is rocked! White sitting and controlling from the half guard. White lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Oh Bull is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! White working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Still in half guard, White seems content to control. Bull seems to have got his legs back now. Bull has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. White is working away from the top position though. White thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. White slips a nice elbow through Bull's hands, connecting with Bull's forehead. White seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
That's four minutes gone in the round. White scores with a big shot! Bull's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Bull! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronnie White! A relieved looking Ronnie White thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
