The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Dalton shoots in and drives through. Assistant sprawls well.

Assistant forces Dalton back against the cage and clinches.

Dalton tightens his grip and picks Assistant up, before dumping him to the ground. Assistant manages to land in guard.
Dalton forces his way into half guard.
Dalton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Assistant tries to hold on but Dalton pushes him away.

Assistant throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dalton shoots in looking for a takedown but Assistant manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dalton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dalton or perhaps it was just good defense by Assistant, which made it look bad.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Assistant enables Dalton to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Assistant manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Dalton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dalton has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Assistant tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Dalton goes for a double leg but Assistant avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Assistant continues to drive forward.
Assistant tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dalton paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Assistant does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Assistant will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dalton up against the cage.

Pacer Dalton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Assistant lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Dalton or not.
Assistant creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Dalton with a big uppercut! Dalton tries to clinch up but Assistant pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Dalton to the mat! Dalton covers up and Assistant unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A very excited looking Personal Assistant rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
