The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Binzo with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Binzo gets caught flat footed, as Vasquez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Vasquez drops back looking for a leg! Binzo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Binzo manages to kick Vasquez off! Vasquez jumps back into Binzo's guard.

Binzo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vasquez's guard.

Vasquez has control of Binzo's left arm, preventing Binzo from doing any damage.

Vasquez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Binzo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Binzo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vasquez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Binzo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Vasquez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Binzo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Binzo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vasquez's head backwards.

Vasquez closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Binzo wants to get back to full guard.

Binzo looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Vasquez pushes past his half guard into mount!
