Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between German Engineering (ranked 3475 p4p, 406 weight class) and Wrestle Guy (ranked 6418 p4p, 564 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engineering clobbers Guy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Engineering wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Guy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Engineering knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guy on the ground.
Guy slows the pace down.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Engineering has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Guy.

Engineering cracks Guy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Guy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Engineering looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
