Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Gotti (ranked 268 p4p, 36 weight class) and Rocco Marciano (ranked 388 p4p, 54 weight class). Gotti 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, King Of Kings. The crowd seem to be enjoying Marciano's choice of entrance music: a shirt that reads, 'Giant Killer'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti 's corner calls for a 1-2. Gotti obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Marciano moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Marciano has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Gotti takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Gotti .
Marciano just misses with a punch to the body.

Gotti looks to land a right hand but Marciano moved out of range.

Marciano throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gotti fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marciano.

Marciano fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Marciano appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Marciano walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gotti .

Gotti bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Gotti does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
And Marciano responds with a good body kick, but Gotti manages to step out the way in time.

A looping hook to the body misses from Marciano. Gotti does a little dance to reset his feet.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marciano.
Marciano does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Gotti lands a really nice looking cross but Marciano seems unphased.

Marciano throws a looping overhand right but Gotti ducks down to avoid it.

Gotti misses with a hook.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Marciano crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gotti - the referee stops the clock and Marciano gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gotti . Marciano manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Marciano creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Marciano gets through Gotti 's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Marciano stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Marciano lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Marciano digs a right hand underneath Gotti 's ribcage. Gotti let out a lung full of air as it connected.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Marciano digs a right hand into Gotti 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Gotti 's gas tank.
Marciano lands a nice uppercut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocco Marciano dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Marciano throws a shot to the body.
Gotti takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Gotti fails with an attempt to clinch.
Marciano unleashes a big counter combination but Gotti bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Gotti lands a jab to the nose.
Gotti tried to score with a low kick but Marciano checks it.
Marciano scores with a jab.
Marciano throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gotti on the side of the head.
Marciano drops Gotti with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gotti looks back up at him and smiles so Marciano waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gotti is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gotti tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Marciano manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Oh Gotti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Marciano is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gotti flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gotti is out cold! Marciano holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
