Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baalzebul Bin Laden (ranked 2239 p4p, 280 weight class) and Rodrigo Escobar (ranked 2740 p4p, 349 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Baalzebul Bin Laden ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rodrigo Escobar! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Escobar scores with a nice right hand.
Escobar digs a good body shot into Bin Laden 's ribs. The crowd cheers as Escobar lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bin Laden doesn't seem phased though. Bin Laden shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Escobar ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Escobar lands with a shot to the body. Bin Laden closes the distance and pushes Escobar back into the cage. Escobar misses with a punch on the inside.
Bin Laden tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Escobar just stands there and leans against the cage. Escobar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Nice body punch from Escobar. Bin Laden decides to pull guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bin Laden looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Escobar wants to control from the top but Bin Laden keeps moving. Bin Laden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Escobar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Escobar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bin Laden is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bin Laden working for a triangle but Escobar defends it easily.

Bin Laden is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Escobar is aware though and is defending well. Bin Laden controlling Escobar's posture. Bin Laden looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Escobar is defending well. Bin Laden quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Escobar has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bin Laden celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Baalzebul Bin Laden ! Baalzebul Bin Laden bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
