The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from White.
A quick step to the side and Von Ryan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Von Ryan throws a right and a left that White avoids nicely.
White takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Von Ryan looks to land a combination but White avoids it well.
White throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
White throws a lazy head kick
and Von Ryan counters with a left and a right that stings White.
White throws a head kick but Von Ryan moves out of range.
Von Ryan misses with a few strikes there.
White throws a head kick that misses
and Von Ryan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Von Ryan blocks a head kick by White.
Von Ryan is looking to counter punch.
White throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Von Ryan drops down looking for a counter takedown but White sprawls and moves away.
Von Ryan lands a left and a right that sends White crashing to the canvas! Von Ryan dives into mount looking to finish!
White is rocked!
It looks like Frank White has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Von Ryan working for a guillotine from mount but White is in no mood to give up.
White is still in real trouble! Can Von Ryan finish him?
White tries to improve his position but Von Ryan has taken his back! Von Ryan has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will White tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Von Ryan pushes White away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
