Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Hias Dreckspecht!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Filip Hais!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dreckspecht takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dreckspecht throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dreckspecht fails in his attempt to clinch.
Dreckspecht misses with the combination.

Hais gets the takedown into side control.
Dreckspecht defending against the ground and pound.
Dreckspecht prevents Hais from improving position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hais tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hais has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hais connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Dreckspecht some visible discomfort.
Hais advances to mount.

Hais moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Dreckspecht has worked his arm free - good work by Dreckspecht!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dreckspecht struggling a bit here.

Hais tries for a kimura but Dreckspecht is defending well.

Hais looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hais looks gassed!
Dreckspecht tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Hais looking to control but instead Dreckspecht has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dreckspecht tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hais seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dreckspecht does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hais passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dreckspecht!
Dreckspecht stops Hais from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hais jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dreckspecht is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dreckspecht and Hais has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Dreckspecht gets back to half guard.
Dreckspecht tries to kick Hais off but Hais keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hais wants to pass to mount but Dreckspecht is defending the position.
Hais slips a nice elbow through Dreckspecht's hands, connecting with Dreckspecht's forehead.
Dreckspecht moves into full guard.
Dreckspecht wants to stand and escape but Hais is having none of it.
Dreckspecht wants to sweep here but Hais controlling him for the moment.
Hais must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Dreckspecht keeping full guard, as Hais tries to pass.

Dreckspecht has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hais can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hais stands and throws Dreckspecht's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hais tries to move to full mount but Dreckspecht actually manages to regain half guard.
Hais wants to control but Dreckspecht is keeping him busy.
Dreckspecht is trying to stand.
Hais is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dreckspecht!
Hais working the ground and pound effectively.

Hais is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Hais swats away the attempt to clinch by Dreckspecht.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Filip Hais dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Dreckspecht throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hais.

Hais shoots in and bounces Dreckspecht off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Dreckspecht tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Hais stands and throws Dreckspecht's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hais happy to just control the position for now.

Hais is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dreckspecht looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hais gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dreckspecht is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hais lets go of the hold and Dreckspecht can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Filip Hais!
