Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Webber (ranked 5028 p4p, 511 weight class) and James Bucky Barnes (ranked 6453 p4p, 555 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as James Bucky Barnes enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Webber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Bucky Barnes! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnes moves into the clinch successfully.
Barnes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barnes. Barnes lands a body shot.
Barnes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Barnes shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Barnes shoots in for a double leg but Webber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bruce Webber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Bucky Barnes. A punch combination from Webber misses. Webber is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnes moves into range and clinches up with Webber. Barnes breaks the clinch.
Barnes tries to clinch there but Webber circles away.
Barnes stalks Webber and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Webber's face. Webber staggers backwards, shaken. Barnes misses with a takedown attempt - Webber sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Webber feinted with a counter takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barnes throws out a leg kick but Webber moves out of range and Barnes only half commits. Barnes throws a right and a left that Webber avoids nicely. Barnes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Webber as he avoids it easily. Barnes tries a head kick but it misses.
Webber swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Barnes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Webber but Webber pushes him off and we're back to square one. Barnes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Barnes misses with a series of wild punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes leaves Webber with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Webber with a poor takedown and Barnes counters with a left and a right that stings Webber. Barnes pivots, looking for a leg kick but Webber is out of range and Barnes settles back down. Webber swats away the attempt to clinch by Barnes. Webber is looking for a counter combo. Barnes tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Barnes tries to close the distance and clinch up but Webber swats him away and circles back towards the center. Barnes's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Barnes duly obliges.
It looks like Bruce Webber has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Webber displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barnes. Webber is looking for a counter combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnes closes the distance and clinches. Barnes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Barnes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Barnes not doing much here.
Barnes is looking to advance position but Webber won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barnes wants to control but Webber is keeping him busy. Barnes is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Webber! Webber is squirming around, avoiding Barnes's attempts to control the action. Barnes might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Webber haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Barnes wants to take Webber's back here but Webber is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Bucky Barnes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bruce Webber's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Barnes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Barnes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Webber is not content to let Barnes control the position. Barnes working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Webber keeps working. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Webber struggling a bit here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes decides to stand up, so the ref orders Webber to his feet. Barnes gets a clinch. Barnes has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Barnes is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Barnes works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Webber wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Barnes manages to pass to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Barnes is thwarting Webber's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Barnes trying to control from half guard but Webber is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Barnes is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Barnes trying to control but Webber is having none of it. Barnes tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Let's hope that Barnes has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Barnes is continuing to stall. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Webber is squirming around, avoiding Barnes's attempts to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Bucky Barnes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bruce Webber's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Barnes scores with a punch to the head. Barnes keeps the fight on the outside. A jab from Webber misses. Webber tries to keep at a distance but Barnes has taken the fight into the clinch. Webber jumps guard but Barnes stands there with Webber around his waist. Webber gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Barnes throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Barnes has Webber pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Barnes pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Webber tumbling to the mat - Barnes dives into Webber's guard. Webber is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Barnes dives into side control.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Barnes working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Webber trying to remain calm as Barnes controls from the top position. Barnes's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Barnes is looking to take a break and control but Webber is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnes tries for a kimura but Webber is defending well. Barnes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Webber keeps working. Barnes taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Webber is not content to let Barnes control the position. You can see the frustration on Webber's face as Barnes controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Barnes wants to control but Webber is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! James Bucky Barnes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Barnes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
