PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Gilberto Chamba (ranked 3077 p4p, 43 weight class) and Ozutsu Fukumatsu (ranked 15580 p4p, 223 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukumatsu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A decent looking cross lands there for Fukumatsu.
Chamba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fukumatsu.
Chamba tried to counter with a leg kick but Fukumatsu avoided it.
We've been informed that Fukumatsu has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Fukumatsu closes the distance and pushes Chamba back into the ropes.
Chamba digs a right hand underneath Fukumatsu's ribcage. Fukumatsu let out a lung full of air as it connected.
