Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucenti Fuzz (ranked 2274 p4p, 292 weight class) and Phil Baloni (ranked 3587 p4p, 436 weight class). Fuzz comes to the cage accompanied by Italia - Road Rash. The key to victory for Lucenti Fuzz has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lucenti Fuzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Baloni!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baloni rushes Fuzz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Baloni stalls.
Fuzz is trying to stall.

Fuzz breaks from the clinch.
Fuzz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Baloni walks into a straight right hand from Fuzz.
Fuzz lands a nice shot that snaps Baloni's head back.
Fuzz throws a jab but it's blocked by Baloni.
Fuzz loads up on a big right hand but Baloni slips the punch.
Fuzz throws a lazy right hand but Baloni sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Baloni uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fuzz.
Fuzz misses with an uppercut. Baloni saw that one coming.
Baloni misses the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baloni rushes Fuzz and presses him up against the cage.

Fuzz breaks the clinch.
Baloni throws a jab but it's blocked by Fuzz.
Baloni comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fuzz misses the shot to the body.
Baloni uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fuzz.
Baloni tries to counter by closing the distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Baloni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fuzz moves away.
Fuzz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Baloni connects with a jab.
Baloni slips a straight right by Fuzz.

Baloni pushes Fuzz up against the cage in a clinch.
Baloni stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Baloni lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Fuzz backwards.
A nice left hand lands by Baloni.

Baloni escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A jab from Fuzz misses.
Baloni fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Fuzz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Baloni keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fuzz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baloni clinches up against the cage.
Fuzz lands a right hand that snaps the head of Baloni backwards.
Baloni lands with a short head shot on the inside.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Baloni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fuzz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Fuzz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baloni.
Baloni dips to his left and cracks Fuzz with an uppercut!

Fuzz is rocked!
Baloni finds Fuzz's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Fuzz flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Baloni lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Fuzz will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phil Baloni!
