Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hassan Van Den Berg (ranked 4054 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Jenkins (ranked 2940 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Hassan Van Den Berg has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Van Den Berg sprawling to the canvas. Jenkins follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Van Den Berg hang on?
Van Den Berg is rocked!
It looks like Hassan Van Den Berg has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jenkins prevents Van Den Berg from standing back up.
Oh Van Den Berg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jenkins decides to return to a standing position.
Van Den Berg rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jenkins moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jenkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Van Den Berg circles away quickly and effectively.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Van Den Berg grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Jenkins takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Van Den Berg cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Hassan Van Den Berg!
