Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kylar Sensei (ranked 612 p4p, 33 weight class) and Nobunaga Tanaka (ranked 614 p4p, 34 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kylar Sensei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nobunaga Tanaka! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanaka misses with an attempted mid kick.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tanaka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Sensei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tanaka cracks Sensei with an open hand slap. Sensei seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Sensei on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Sensei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tanaka appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Tanaka scores with a jab. Sensei ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nobunaga Tanaka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sensei on the wrong end of a nice hook. Sensei misses with a straight right. A big right from Tanaka misses. Tanaka lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sensei's sensitive parts. Sensei throws a good cross that connects.

You can see the frustration on Sensei's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Tanaka gets his hands free as Sensei looks to control. I really don't envy Sensei right now.

Sensei is trapped and Tanaka is scoring with shots to the head and body. This has been an exciting period of action! Tanaka is persistently looking for the submission but Sensei is defending it well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Tanaka has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Sensei has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Tanaka lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Sensei is rocked! Tanaka connects with a couple of big shots that have Sensei covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Sensei! Tanaka fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nobunaga Tanaka! A very excited looking Nobunaga Tanaka made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
