Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Shurk (ranked 5424 p4p, 517 weight class) and Gadi Gadi (ranked 6349 p4p, 554 weight class). Shurk's entrance music is The Unforgiving by Metallica. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gadi doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Shurk to counter with a crisp jab.
Gadi moves into the clinch successfully.
Shurk throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Shurk lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Gadi Gadi has been cut.
Gadi takes an elbow to the temple.

Gadi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Shurk gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Shurk keeps control of Gadi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Gadi is trying to drag Shurk to the mat but Shurk just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Sean Shurk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gadi Gadi.

Shurk pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Gadi! Shurk unloads with more strikes and Gadi sinks to his knees! This one is all over!

Sean Shurk got down on his knees post fight and begged the management for a title shot. 'Please, I want that title shot so bad! Give it to me!'
