The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bee drives through with a takedown into Drop's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Bee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Drop keeping full guard, as Bee tries to pass. Bee advances position into side control! Drop can't do much from the bottom here. Drop should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Bee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Bee connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Drop some visible discomfort.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bee has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Drop is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Bee yanks on the arm and Drop is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Bee.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Killer Bee! In his post fight interview, Killer Bee started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
