Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dude Ferreri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Sales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Sales. That's going to slow Ferreri down.
A big right from Sales misses.
Ferreri scores with a takedown into Sales's guard.

Sales is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ferreri working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

That was a close round but I would say that Dude Ferreri will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sales.
Ferreri regains half guard there - taking advantage of Sales's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Sales is taking a breather. Ferreri says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sales throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ferreri slips a jab and a cross from Sales.
Ferreri closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Ferreri jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sales walks away with a smile on his face. Ferreri gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Sales lands with a thumping leg kick.
Ferreri throws a body punch but Sales moves out of range.
Ferreri gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sales.
Sales stalks Ferreri and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ferreri's face. Ferreri staggers backwards, shaken.
Sales misses with a wild combination.
A combination from Sales does no damage.
Dude Ferreri is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Sales wants to clinch.

Sales cracks Ferreri with an open hand slap.
Sales connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ferreri throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sales's waist but Sales gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ferreri off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dude Ferreri. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ferreri gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Sales wanted to stand there but Ferreri had control of the position.

Ferreri really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ferreri changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sales tries to avoid it but Ferreri manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sales to the ground. Sales escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sales thuds his right hand into Ferreri's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sales connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ferreri momentarily.
Ferreri shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Sales gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Ferreri tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sales smiles and moves away.

Sales lands a nice shot that snaps Ferreri's head back.
Sales looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ferreri is fending him off so far but Sales persists. Nope, Ferreri circles away and we're back to standing.

Sales looks to land a combination. Ferreri sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Sales throws a series of punches but Ferreri moves out of range.
Sales scores with a one two! Ferreri had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ferreri looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sales!
Sales tries to lock up and control but Ferreri gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ferreri will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Ferreri lands with some strikes.
Ferreri blocks Sales's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Ferreri cracks Sales with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight!
Tiago Sales comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sales has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
