Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pony Pony (ranked 101 p4p, 6 weight class) and Gauthier Delsarte (ranked 182 p4p, 10 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Delsarte's choice of entrance music: Ah Non Cest Terrible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
29 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pony Pony! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gauthier Delsarte! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Delsarte throws a jab but it's blocked by Pony. Pony tries to counter by clinching up but Delsarte breaks away and moves out of range. Delsarte lands with a right hand. Pony slips under a jab from Delsarte. A slapping leg kick lands for Delsarte.
Delsarte throws a poor cross that misses
and Pony counters with a left and a right that stings Delsarte. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delsarte throws a leg kick and Pony counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Gauthier Delsarte has been cut. Some bone on bone action there as Pony checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delsarte throws a shot to the body.
Delsarte tries to bum rush Pony with a series of wild strikes but Pony uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Delsarte looks to throw the jab but Pony is out of range. Pony blocks a head kick by Delsarte.
Delsarte lands with an overhand left. Delsarte misses with a hook. Pony is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delsarte lands a big right hand that sends Pony crashing to the mat! Delsarte stays standing though and waves Pony back to his feet! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Delsarte drops Pony with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pony! Delsarte dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gauthier Delsarte! An out of breath Gauthier Delsarte thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
