Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mohammed Al Haddad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Dettman! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch lands to the side of Al Haddad 's head but he takes it in his stride. Dettman throws a nice looking combination but Al Haddad bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Al Haddad tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dettman misses with a two punch combination.

Al Haddad tries to throw a body punch but Dettman avoids it by throwing Al Haddad back against the cage. Al Haddad escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Al Haddad uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dettman. Dettman shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Al Haddad eats them both and turns towards Dettman to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Al Haddad will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Al Haddad clinches up with Dettman and pushes him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
