Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Twenty Four! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Warfield! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Four fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Warfield, pushing him back against the cage. Warfield lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Four backwards. Warfield scores with a shot to the side of Four's head. A hook to the body from Warfield.
Warfield scores with a shot to the side of Four's head. Warfield lands with a light punch inside. Four wants to break free but Warfield has control.
Warfield works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Four is trying to force a seperation but Warfield has the dominant position. Four has hold of one of Warfield's legs. Warfield is fighting the takedown attempt but Four gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Warfield can do anything to dispel that myth. Four drops back looking for a leg! Warfield is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Warfield manages to kick Four off! Four jumps back into Warfield's guard. Four tries to stand but Warfield is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Four wants to control from the top but Warfield keeps moving. Warfield is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Four trying to control but Warfield is working from the bottom. Warfield tries to land a sweep but no joy. Warfield managing to control the position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Four won't allow Warfield to sweep him here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Warfield connects with a single shot there. Warfield wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Four takes one to the chin there. Warfield lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Warfield instigates a clinch. Four has had enough of the clinch but Warfield keeps him there for the moment. Warfield stalling the fight.

Four throws a head punch that misses. Warfield just leaning against Four, taking a breather. Four tries to pull guard but Warfield holds him up against the cage and eventually Four drops back down to his feet.
Warfield lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Four.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warfield lands a shoulder strike. Warfield is pushing Four up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Four's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Four tries to pull guard but Warfield won't allow it.
Warfield content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Four wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Warfield has him pressed against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Warfield as Four tries to tie him up. Four tries to stall but Warfield uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Maybe Four would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. Four's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Four tries to circle away but Warfield has him pinned against the cage. Four looking to throw knees to the head but Warfield is blocking nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Four is trying to break free. Warfield lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Four backwards. Four is trying to break the clinch but Warfield has him pressed against the cage. Four letting Warfield take a breather here. Warfield stalling.
Four looking to slow down the pace here. Warfield lands a shot to the body. A nice right hand lands inside from Warfield. Four is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Warfield to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Twenty Four. That's going to take a lot out of him. A short right hand to the side of the head by Warfield. Four swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Warfield lands a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adam Warfield dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Four drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Warfield gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Four is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Warfield frees his head nicely. Oh but Four has switched to an armbar! Warfield is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
