Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Perlen Panserbane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Oscar Bluth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George Oscar Bluth will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Perlen Panserbane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Oscar Bluth!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bluth lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Panserbane.
Bluth thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Panserbane if he has to take too many more of those.
Bluth throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Panserbane moves out of range of the body kick.

Panserbane drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Panserbane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bluth trying to keep a closed guard but Panserbane is proving a slippery customer.
Panserbane is looking to work some ground and pound but Bluth has wrist control.
Panserbane seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Panserbane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Panserbane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bluth lands with a kick to the temple. Panserbane shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Bluth closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bluth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Panserbane has one of Bluth's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Panserbane gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Panserbane is pressing down on Bluth's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Panserbane is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Panserbane is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bluth trying to control the position from guard on top but Panserbane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Panserbane is looking for a triangle but Bluth pushes his legs off easily.
Bluth slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Panserbane is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Panserbane working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bluth doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bluth manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bluth has gone for a leg lock! Panserbane slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bluth's guard.

Bluth looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Panserbane puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Panserbane is trying to work for a kimura but Bluth is defending well.

That was a close round but I would say that Perlen Panserbane will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Panserbane tries to free his leg and advance position but Bluth is retaining full guard.

Panserbane drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bluth dives on top into guard.
Bluth stays in close to Panserbane's body and controls the position.

Panserbane looking for a guillotine here but Bluth defends easily.

Panserbane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Panserbane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bluth gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Panserbane lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bluth!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bluth is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Panserbane seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Bluth is holding on tight.

Panserbane swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bluth is now in Panserbane's guard. A big mistake from Panserbane there, giving up the dominant position!

Panserbane looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Perlen Panserbane dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Panserbane takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bluth, right into the meat.
Panserbane tries for a takedown but Bluth circles away easily

and Bluth counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Panserbane is looking for a triangle but Bluth pushes his legs off easily.
Bluth in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Panserbane is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Panserbane is trying to control the position but Bluth postures up.

Bluth wants to control from the top but Panserbane keeps moving.
Panserbane wants to sweep here but Bluth controlling him for the moment.

Panserbane had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bluth is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Panserbane Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bluth's back instead.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bluth wants to control his opponent's hands but Panserbane gets his hands free.
Will Panserbane go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
What can Bluth do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Panserbane is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bluth knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bluth for a finish.
Panserbane gets his hands free as Bluth looks to control.

Panserbane looking to break Bluth's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bluth remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Panserbane will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Panserbane's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Bluth tries to roll but Panserbane sticks to his back.
Bluth is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Panserbane off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bluth is sitting in close to Panserbane's body. Panserbane has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Bluth is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Bluth is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Panserbane.
