Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Dock (ranked 1968 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glass Joe (ranked 3193 p4p, 0 weight class). Dock comes into the arena with The Hangover Soundtrack- Iko Iko blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Dock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Glass Joe! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Dock. Dock scores with a head kick. Joe tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Dock tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Joe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Joe wants to take a breather but Dock is having none of it. Dock has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Joe escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Joe! Joe trying to control the position but Dock is working away. Dock tries to get back to half guard but can't. Dock is working hard here to advance position. Dock gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe stalling. Dock tries to get to full guard but Joe has control of the leg. Joe wants to pass the guard but Dock is defending well. Dock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dock tries to roll over but Joe keeps him under control. Joe is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Joe is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Dock actively working from the bottom here. Dock looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dock is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Joe pulls his head out easily. Joe seems to be working for a kimura but Dock defends the submission attempt. Dock looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Joe pushes past his half guard into mount! Joe cracks Dock with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Joe controlling from mount. Joe's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Dock can't escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dock prevents Joe from taking his back. Dock manages to regain half guard. Good work. Dock is in trouble now - Joe has advanced to mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Joe prevents Dock from getting the reversal. Joe controlling the position easily from mount. Dock is desperately trying to improve his position but Joe has a good base and remains in mount. Joe breaks from Dock's wrist control and lands an elbow. Dock is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Joe trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dock gets back to half guard. Dock actively working from the bottom here. Dock has hold of Joe's hands but Joe slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Dock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dock looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Joe lands with a punch from half guard. Joe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dock keeps working. Dock is looking for a sweep. Joe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dock actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Glass Joe dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Joe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Joe cracks the inside of Dock's front leg. Joe shoots in for a takedown but Dock shows good takedown defense. Dock tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dock misses with a head kick.

Joe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dock to the mat! Dock manages to get full guard. Dock really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Joe preventing the sweep. Dock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Joe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Joe controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dock looking to hit a scissor sweep but Joe is one step ahead there. Dock looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Joe has picked Dock up and slammed him! Dock can't keep hold of the triangle and Joe manages to pass to side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Joe tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dock's legs. Joe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Joe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Joe tries to move into full mount but can't pass Dock's legs. Dock is not content to let Joe control the position. Dock is looking to reverse the position. Joe wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dock keeps working. Dock is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Joe's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Dock looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dock regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Joe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Joe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dock is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Joe defends well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Dock keeping moving, preventing Joe from controlling successfully. Joe drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Joe seems to have locked his on tight now - Dock screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Joe, as he picks up the win!
