Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Blakemond sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Blakemond throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Smith dodges the punch combination from Blakemond.
Blakemond has taken the fight to the clinch.
Smith is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Smith wants a takedown.
Smith fails to pull guard.
Spencer Blakemond has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Don Smith.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blakemond tries to circle away but Smith has him pinned against the cage.
Smith misses with a body punch.
Smith stalling against the cage.
Smith tries to break the clinch but Blakemond is controlling the position.

Smith breaks the clinch.
Blakemond swinging wildly here.
No joy there for Blakemond, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blakemond clinches up with Smith and pushes him back against the cage.
Blakemond has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Blakemond tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Smith avoids it.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blakemond stuffs the takedown attempt from Smith. Smith gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blakemond lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Blakemond closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Smith! Blakemond dives in looking to finish! Smith is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
