Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Arnold (ranked 5956 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evarist Mhanna (ranked 6043 p4p, 0 weight class). Evarist Mhanna will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kevin Arnold!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evarist Mhanna!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Topper Green and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mhanna throws a looping overhand right but Arnold ducks down to avoid it.
Mhanna throws a shot from downtown. Arnold moves away and avoids it.
Arnold has a takedown stuffed.
Arnold gets a double leg takedown into Mhanna's guard.
Arnold will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Arnold scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Mhanna is looking to stand up but Arnold isn't so interested in that idea.
Arnold gets to his feet - Mhanna follows without any prompting.
Mhanna misses with an uppercut
and Arnold counters with a three punch combo that has Mhanna backing up. Mhanna nods at Arnold to acknowledge the strikes.
Arnold moves into range and clinches up with Mhanna.
Mhanna is looking to break free of the clinch but Arnold has double underhooks.
Arnold ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Arnold no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mhanna wants to stand but Arnold is controlling his posture from full guard.
Mhanna looking to sit in guard and control but Arnold gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arnold gets to his feet - Mhanna follows without any prompting.
Mhanna throws the left hand but Arnold avoids the punch easily.
It looked like Arnold wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Arnold uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mhanna.
Mhanna misses with an uppercut
and Arnold counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The crowd cheers as Mhanna lands an impressive looking overhand right. Arnold doesn't seem phased though.

and Arnold counters with a nice body shot.
Mhanna misses with a double jab
and Arnold moves into the clinch.
Mhanna is pressed up against the cage. Arnold has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mhanna down to the mat. Mhanna avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mhanna cracks Arnold on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Arnold falls backwards against the cage. Mhanna follows up with more strikes that drop Arnold to his knees. Mhanna keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Arnold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evarist Mhanna!
