Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miko Ians (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miko Ians has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miko Ians! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Boyle! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ians shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boyle as he avoids it easily. Ians misses with a jab, cross combination.

Miko Ians seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ians moves in looking to clinch but Boyle pushes him off. Boyle misses with a wild body shot. Boyle throws a combination. Ians tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Miko Ians has been cut. Boyle stuffs the takedown. Boyle swats away the attempt to clinch by Ians. Ians fails to land with a series of punches.
Ians has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miko Ians. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ians tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boyle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice defenses there by Ians. Ians clinches. Boyle swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round. Boyle has a closed guard, preventing Ians from standing up. Ians trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Boyle wants to hit a switch here but Ians passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Boyle there! Ians will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Ians stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Ians has Boyle up against the cage in a clinch.
Ians decides to pull guard. Ians controls Boyle momentarily but Boyle frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boyle throws a big right hand that misses. Boyle wants to stand and escape but instead Ians has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Boyle striking off his back but it's not causing Ians any problems. Boyle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ians decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ians shoots in looking for a takedown. Boyle tries to sprawl out of it but Ians keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boyle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boyle circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ians is looking to clinch but Boyle is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boyle throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ians counters by moving into the clinch. Boyle can't break the clinch.
Boyle blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Boyle avoiding damage as Ians throws knees to the body.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Ians using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Boyle has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Boyle lands with a right to the head. Ians's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A head kick misses from Boyle. Ians forces Boyle back against the cage and clinches. Boyle misses with a knee to the head. Boyle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Boyle feints and as Ians raises his hands in defense, Boyle changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ians is breathing heavily. Boyle stops Ians from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boyle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boyle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Ians throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Boyle controlling from the top position. Ians wants to stand but Boyle is controlling the position. Ians is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boyle showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Miko Ians will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Miko Ians's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ians looks to land a combination. Boyle sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Ians swats away the attempt to clinch by Boyle. Ians's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Ians duly obliges. Boyle looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ians! Ians regains half guard. Boyle tries to pass to full mount but Ians defends it. Ians wants to control but Boyle is keeping busy.
Ians is trying to stand up here but Boyle is controlling him well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boyle missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Boyle stalling away here and it's allowed Ians to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Ians wants to stand up but Boyle is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Boyle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Boyle is looking to clinch. Ians tries to keep at a distance but Boyle has taken the fight into the clinch. Ians misses with an elbow strike.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Boyle pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Boyle as Ians tries to tie him up. Ians fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Ians pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ians keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ians tries to clinch up and Boyle moves into the clinch.

Boyle prevents Ians from getting back to his feet. Ians keeping moving, preventing Boyle from controlling successfully. Boyle with a flurry of punches that miss. Boyle is fighting to break Ians's control of his arms but Ians is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Boyle looking to pass the guard. Boyle must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Boyle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Boyle throws a half hearted mid kick. Ians gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Boyle to counter with a crisp jab.

and Ians counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ians stops Boyle from standing up. Boyle striking off his back but it's not causing Ians any problems. Ians decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Boyle, up you get! Ians gets a takedown into half guard. Ians decides to stand and escape the position. Ians misses with a takedown and Boyle holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ians tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Boyle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ians tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Ians slips a jab and a cross from Boyle.

Ians closes the distance but Boyle moves to the side and Boyle counters by clinching up. Ians blocks an uppercut.

Boyle tries to pull guard but Ians holds him up against the cage and eventually Boyle drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ians throws a knee to the head but misses.
Ians throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Boyle blocks it with crossed arms. Boyle lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ians backwards. Ians breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ians ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ians goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Ians shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boyle as he jumps to the side. Ians fails in his attempt to clinch. Ians will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ians fails with the takedown. Boyle circles away from the clinch attempt and Boyle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ians's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Frankie Boyle. I think Boyle has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
