Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fritz Hammer (ranked 2404 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Motu (ranked 3261 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Motu fails with a takedown attempt.
Motu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hammer to the ground. Motu is now in Hammer's guard.
Motu is looking to work some ground and pound but Hammer has wrist control.
Hammer on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hammer tries to get out of the position.
Motu postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hammer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Motu throwing strikes from guard but Hammer blocks nicely.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As Motu tries to get set, Hammer tries to push him back and clinch up but Motu manages to avoid the attempt.

Hammer feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Motu sprawling to the canvas! Motu rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hammer finish him?!
Motu is rocked!
Hammer wobbles Motu with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Hammer dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Motu to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!
