The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Souza sets himself, and Walker steps forward looking for the clinch! Souza avoids it this time.
Walker closes the distance but Souza moves to the side

and Souza counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Souza.

Souza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Souza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Walker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Souza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Souza tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Souza has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Well, with Walker on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Souza is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Walker has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Souza! Can he survive? No! He's out! Walker gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
