Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Gustafson (ranked 1801 p4p, 200 weight class) and Jim Bob McDonald (ranked 460 p4p, 67 weight class). McDonald has chosen Ray Wylie Hubbard - Redneck Mother as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McDonald was well out of range. Poor timing from Gustafson.
McDonald ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gustafson moves away.
Gustafson lands with a kick to the temple. McDonald shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Gustafson doesn't manage to clinch there - McDonald circles away.
McDonald throws a lazy uppercut
and Gustafson counters with a nice double leg into side control. McDonald won't be happy with that.
McDonald is looking to reverse the position.
McDonald keeps trying to improve his position.
Gustafson looking to punish the body of his opponent here but McDonald is avoiding damage well.
Gustafson tries for a kimura but McDonald is defending well.
Gustafson lands some shots froms side control.

McDonald is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gustafson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gustafson's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McDonald connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Gustafson some visible discomfort.
Gustafson is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at The Kegerator - 650$, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Gustafson takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
McDonald lands a strong strike to the head of Gustafson. That's dazed him! McDonald looking to finish here. Gustafson is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - McDonald lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
