Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Ron Velderman (ranked 20115 p4p, 594 weight class) and Derek Wylde (ranked 2594 p4p, 328 weight class). Wylde has chosen Kanye West- Touch the Sky as his entrance music. Ron Velderman is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Velderman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Derek Wylde!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velderman misses with a kick to the body.
Velderman seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Velderman connects with an inside leg kick.
Velderman fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Wylde has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Velderman cracks Wylde with an open hand slap.
Velderman will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wylde looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Velderman throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Velderman scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Wylde to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wylde tries a head kick but it misses.
Wylde throws a nice head kick!
A combination from Velderman does no damage.
Velderman lands a leg kick that knocks Wylde off balance momentarily.
Velderman throws a body shot but no joy.
Wylde lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wylde tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Wylde throws a head kick that misses.
Wylde misses with a body shot.
Velderman explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Velderman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Velderman scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Wylde beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Velderman moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Velderman feints and then cracks Wylde's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wylde down.
Velderman dodges the punch combination from Wylde.
A thudding body kick lands there by Velderman!
Velderman thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Wylde if he has to take too many more of those.
Wylde wants to clinch up but Velderman keeps it at a distance.
Velderman lunges at Wylde with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wylde's hand.

Wylde is rocked!
Wylde glances at the clock... BAM! Velderman nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Wylde crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Wylde is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ron Velderman!
Ron Velderman bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Derek Wylde was interviewed post fight and said 'It's whatever, man. I still had a fun time. '.
