Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between William Lati (ranked 2819 p4p, 320 weight class) and Andy King (ranked 3076 p4p, 345 weight class). Lati comes to the cage accompanied by Ye- Burna Boy. King comes into a darkened arena with his song building. What's Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lati thuds a left hand into King's body.
Lati misses with a straight left.
Lati scores with a shot to the body.

King shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
King trying to control but Lati is working from the bottom.
King might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lati haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lati wants to stand up but King is controlling him.

King is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lati controls King momentarily but King frees himself.
King looking to pass the guard.

King is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lati is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lati has escaped and now he's on top!

Lati postures up in King's guard and throws a big left but King blocks it.
Lati missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Lati wanted to stand there but King had control of the position.

Lati wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of King's closed guard. He's half up but King has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! King pivots and extends the arm, Lati falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by King! Well done that man!
