Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Israel Horne (ranked 24972 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kleber Koike Erbst (ranked 4678 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Israel Horne! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kleber Koike Erbst! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horne shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Horne is keen to just control but Koike Erbst is a slippery customer. Koike Erbst is looking to improve his position.
Koike Erbst is concentrating on defense, preventing Horne from advancing position. Koike Erbst is continuing to stall. Horne missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horne not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Horne seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Koike Erbst does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Koike Erbst controlling the position well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horne feints and as Koike Erbst raises his hands in defense, Horne changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Koike Erbst is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Koike Erbst wants to sweep but no luck. Koike Erbst has his hands on Horne's head, controlling the position. Koike Erbst's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Horne shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Horne being controlled here momentarily. Koike Erbst bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Horne's guard. Koike Erbst seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Koike Erbst stands and throws Horne's legs to the side, diving into side control. Koike Erbst is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! It looks like Koike Erbst might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Israel Horne dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Horne dives in and scores a takedown into Koike Erbst's guard. Koike Erbst working for a triangle but Horne defends it easily.
Koike Erbst controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Koike Erbst is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Koike Erbst working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Horne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Horne manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Koike Erbst had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Horne defends it easily. Koike Erbst is controlling Horne's posture. Koike Erbst bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Horne's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koike Erbst not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Koike Erbst is pushing down on Horne's leg trying to pass to half guard. Horne is fighting to maintain full guard but Koike Erbst has managed to sneak the leg through. Koike Erbst controlling the action here.

He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Horne is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
