Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Deeds (ranked 3566 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dudley Davies (ranked 3486 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dudley Davies was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Deeds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dudley Davies! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davies takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Davies shoots for a takedown but Deeds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Deeds could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Deeds closes this distance looking for a takedown but Davies circles away. Davies shoots in for a double leg but Deeds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Davies goes for a double leg but Deeds avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Deeds continues to drive forward. John Deeds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dudley Davies. Deeds has a takedown stuffed. Davies closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Deeds quickly recovers to half guard. Davies is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Deeds taking some punishment here, with Davies in his half guard. Davies lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Davies not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Davies drops an elbow to the side of Deeds's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davies working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Davies there. Davies lands strikes from half guard. Davies winds up and cracks Deeds with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Davies connects with a nice short shot to Deeds's temple. Davies working over Deeds with some ground and pound. Deeds looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Deeds is rocked! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Davies lands a nice short elbow. Oh Deeds is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Davies slips a nice elbow through Deeds's hands, connecting with Deeds's forehead. Davies looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Davies is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Deeds is hurt! He's hurt bad - Davies fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Deeds from any more punishment! Congratulations to Davies! Great finish!
