Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Daughtrey (ranked 1362 p4p, 185 weight class) and Peter Batts (ranked 1341 p4p, 183 weight class). Batts has chosen Midnight City - By: M83 as his entrance music. Kevin Daughtrey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Peter Batts's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daughtrey throws a body punch but Batts moves out of range.
Daughtrey slips under a jab from Batts.
Batts listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Daughtrey lands a jab to Batts's midsection.
Batts looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Daughtrey moves in looking to clinch but Batts pushes him off.
Daughtrey has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Daughtrey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Batts throws out the jab.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Batts lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Daughtrey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Daughtrey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Batts takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Batts doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Daughtrey connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Batts's hands.
Daughtrey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Batts sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Batts looks to land a left hand but Daughtrey moved out of range nicely.
Daughtrey throwing a counter right hand but Batts manages to avoid it.
Batts throws a low kick, looking for Daughtrey's leg but Daughtrey calmly moves out of range.
Batts on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Daughtrey lands a nice hook to Batts's body. Batts takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Daughtrey lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Batts shoots in but no luck this time.
Daughtrey looks to land a combination but Batts avoids it well.
Daughtrey wants to clinch up but Batts keeps it at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Daughtrey lands a jab to Batts's midsection.
Daughtrey misses with a body shot.
Batts lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Daughtrey lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Daughtrey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Batts walks into a stiff left hand from Daughtrey.
Daughtrey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Batts manages to avoid it.
Daughtrey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Batts paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Batts misses with an uppercut.
Daughtrey cracks Batts with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Nice uppercut there from Daughtrey.
Batts is rocked!
Batts throws a front kick aimed at Daughtrey's knee but Daughtrey avoids it well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Daughtrey lands a big right hand that sends Batts crashing to the mat! Daughtrey stays standing though and waves Batts back to his feet!
Batts is still on wobbly legs! Can Daughtrey finish him?
Kevin Daughtrey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A low kick from Batts is predictable there
and Daughtrey counters with a right hand to the body.
Daughtrey tries to close the distance and clinch up but Batts swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Daughtrey is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Daughtrey connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Batts out cold! This one is over in a flash!
