Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Haggar (ranked 1220 p4p, 147 weight class) and Clubber Lang (ranked 2236 p4p, 231 weight class). Lang has chosen Eye of the tiger, Survivor. as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Clubber Lang! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haggar connects with a jab. Lang tries to clinch up but Haggar circles away and keeps his distance. Lang tries to clinch there but Haggar circles away.
Lang tries to move into range but Haggar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A shot to the liver by Haggar. Beautiful body shot. Haggar scores with a jab to the head.
Haggar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Haggar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Haggar on the wrong end of a nice jab. Haggar works over Lang's head and body with a nice combination. Haggar swings for the body but Lang moves out of range.
Lang lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lang scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Lang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haggar moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Lang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Haggar counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lang! Haggar is working Lang over with some ground and pound from side control. Haggar lands a decent elbow from side control. Lang felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haggar grinds an elbow into Lang's temple. Haggar is putting a hurting on Lang here, landing some big shots from side control. You can see the frustration on Lang's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Haggar in side control lands a decent elbow. Haggar lands a decent elbow from side control. That's two minutes gone in the round. Haggar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lang keeps working. Haggar connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Lang some visible discomfort.
Lang tries to improve position but can't. Haggar cracks Lang with an elbow. That is naaassty. Lang takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Haggar lands some shots froms side control.
Lang is rocked! Haggar creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Lang is still in real trouble! Can Haggar finish him? Check out the look on Haggar's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lang is looking for a sweep. Lang seems to have recovered his senses. Lang looks winded! Haggar is chipping away with strikes.
Haggar lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lang down.
A big shot lands for Haggar! That's hurt Lang! Will he recover? Haggar fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
