Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Hooah is trying to improve his position.
Hooah is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Smith thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Hooah tries to bench press Smith off him but Smith keeps the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Smith is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hooah knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hooah sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Hooah wants to get back to his feet.
Smith is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hooah is just riding it out for now. Smith eventually gives up the hold.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hooah is defending against the submission attempts here by Smith.

Smith prevents Hooah from improving his position.
Hooah works his way to full guard. Good work.
Smith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hooah looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Smith throwing strikes but missing.
Smith is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hooah on the ground.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Hooah is looking to sinch up a triangle. Smith throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hooah's body to avoid the submission. Hooah has instead reached around Smith's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hooah arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
