Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whatts closes the distance and clinches up with Boy, looking for a takedown. Whatts pushes Boy against the cage but Boy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Whatts will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Whatts tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boy swivels and escapes.
Boy fails in his attempt to clinch.
Whatts clobbers Boy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Whatts shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Boy's guard.
Whatts content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Boy has control of Whatts's left arm, preventing Whatts from doing any damage.
Whatts pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Boy is keeping the position for now.
Boy is looking to stand up but Whatts isn't so interested in that idea.
Whatts looking to pass the guard.
Whatts scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Whatts throws a strike but Boy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Whatts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Boy drops back looking for a leg! Whatts is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Whatts manages to kick Boy off! Boy jumps back into Whatts's guard.

Boy wanted to stand there but Whatts had control of the position.
Whatts wants to sweep but no luck.
Whatts throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Whatts looking for a sweep. Not yet Whatts, not yet.
Boy advances position into side control!
Whatts is trying to get back to half guard.

Boy stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Boy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Whatts pinned against the cage. Whatts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boy looks gassed!
Whatts fails with a takedown attempt.

Boy slips a jab and a cross from Whatts.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Whatts.

Boy shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Whatts is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
Whatts is looking to improve his position but Boy isn't that keen on the idea.

Whatts is trying to reverse the position but instead Boy has taken his back - oops!
Boy is hanging on to Whatts's back as he tries to escape.

Boy sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Whatts taps out!
