Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Jenkins (ranked 2212 p4p, 253 weight class) and Hassan Van Den Berg (ranked 3140 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matthew Jenkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hassan Van Den Berg!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Van Den Berg counter with a right hand.
Jenkins throws a series of strikes that have Van Den Berg backpedaling.
Van Den Berg throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jenkins.
Jenkins lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Van Den Berg can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Jenkins and Van Den Berg drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Jenkins.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matthew Jenkins!
