Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Douche Canoe (ranked 2040 p4p, 271 weight class) and Indigo Starseed (ranked 11057 p4p, 612 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 22 wins and 12 losses; Indigo Starseed!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.

Canoe moves into range and clinches up with Starseed.
Starseed goes for a takedown attempt but Canoe pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Canoe wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Starseed, who protects the arm well.
Canoe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Starseed is not content to let Canoe control the position.

Starseed is not content to let Canoe control the position.
Starseed stops Canoe from passing to mount.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Starseed tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Starseed can't do much from the bottom here.
Canoe trying to control the position but Starseed is working away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Canoe is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Starseed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Canoe tries to move into full mount but can't pass Starseed's legs.

Starseed wants to hold on but Canoe pushes him away.

Starseed has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
