Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MD Lomax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Hayes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, MD Lomax! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lomax misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hayes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hayes throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lomax. Good leg kick by Lomax there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hayes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lomax sprawls well initially but Hayes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Lomax manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lomax trying to control the position.
Hayes stopping the sweep attempt from Lomax. Lomax is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lomax manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hayes manages to get himself to full guard.
Lomax gets to his feet. Hayes looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Lomax doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hayes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hayes preventing the sweep. Lomax trying to control the position.
Hayes might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hayes wants to control from the top but Lomax keeps moving. Lomax controlling Hayes's posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lomax is on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lomax looking to pass the guard. Hayes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lomax passes easily into side control. Nice work. Hayes is trying to improve his position. Lomax in side control, throwing shots but Hayes defends.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lomax trying to control the position but Hayes is working away. Hayes is trying to control Lomax's posture but Lomax avoids it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lomax tries for a takedown but Hayes sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. John Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MD Lomax. Lomax looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. John Hayes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hayes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lomax struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayes working the ground and pound. Hayes lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Lomax down.
Lomax tries to bench press Hayes off him but Hayes keeps the position. Check out the look on Hayes's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lomax struggling a bit here. Hayes cracks Lomax with a big right hand but Lomax just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Hayes scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Lomax moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hayes trying to control the position from guard on top but Lomax is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lomax looking for a guillotine here but Hayes defends easily.

Hayes is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Hayes is squirming around, avoiding Lomax's attempts to control the action. Lomax working the ground and pound effectively.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hayes wants to hold on but Lomax pushes him away. Lomax looking to ground and pound but Hayes is blocking nicely. Lomax throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Hayes tries to reverse the position but Lomax maintains control. Lomax putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hayes is in all sorts of trouble here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Poor strikes thrown by Lomax there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Hayes doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Lomax prevents Hayes from getting the reversal. Hayes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hayes tries to get out of the position. Lomax trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hayes is trying to escape the mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lomax unloads with some shots from mount but Hayes bucks and avoids them well.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Hayes will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Hayes throws a big right hand that misses. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Lomax changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hayes tries to avoid it but Lomax manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hayes to the ground. Hayes escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. John Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of MD Lomax. Hayes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Lomax tries to improve position but can't. Lomax manages to get back to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hayes lands a nice short elbow. Hayes slips a nice elbow through Lomax's hands, connecting with Lomax's forehead. Hayes seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayes stands up from Lomax's guard - Hayes perhaps looking for a knockout. Hayes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lomax makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lomax. Hayes trying to control but Lomax is working from the bottom. Hayes slips nicely into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hayes connects with a nice short shot to Lomax's temple. Hayes is looking to take a break and control but Lomax is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lomax is looking for a sweep. Hayes is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lomax pushes Hayes off and gets back to his feet. Lomax takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. John Hayes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lomax misses with a takedown and Hayes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lomax! Hayes landing strikes, looking to finish! Lomax working to try and regain half guard.
Hayes lands a big elbow. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lomax working to try and regain half guard.
MD Lomax has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! John Hayes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. John Hayes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
And that's the end of the fight! John Hayes showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hayes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
