Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Leon Scott Jr (ranked 3251 p4p, 182 weight class) and Namvar Khoramov (ranked 25057 p4p, 289 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Namvar Khoramov was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leon Scott Jr! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Namvar Khoramov! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Lou da Vinci and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khoramov throws a head kick that misses. Scott Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Khoramov misses with a wild combination.
Khoramov throws a sloppy head kick and Scott Jr moves out of range easily. Khoramov throws a head kick but Scott Jr moves out of range.
Scott Jr blocks a head kick by Khoramov.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Khoramov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Namvar Khoramov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott Jr avoids the head kick by Khoramov.
Scott Jr rushes Khoramov and presses him up against the cage. Khoramov throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Scott Jr tries to work over Khoramov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Scott Jr wants the takedown. Khoramov is fighting it off but Scott Jr persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Khoramov's guard against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott Jr is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Khoramov controls Scott Jr momentarily but Scott Jr frees himself. Scott Jr trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Scott Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott Jr works a leg free and moves into half guard. Still in half guard, Scott Jr seems content to control. Scott Jr works his way into side control. Khoramov is trying to escape the position but Scott Jr is controlling the position. Scott Jr working away. Scott Jr lands a nice forearm strike. Khoramov is looking to regain half guard here but Scott Jr keeps moving and retains side control. Check out the look on Scott Jr's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott Jr landing strikes. Scott Jr staying calm. Scott Jr working the ground and pound. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott Jr is chipping away with strikes.
Scott Jr scores with punches from side control. Scott Jr connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Khoramov some visible discomfort.
Scott Jr is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Khoramov's shoulder. That is not cool. Scott Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khoramov tries to bench press Scott Jr off him but Scott Jr keeps the position. Scott Jr working the head and body with strikes. Scott Jr taking a breather here. Check out the look on Scott Jr's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Scott Jr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott Jr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Khoramov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott Jr. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Khoramov struggling a bit here. Scott Jr is staying tight to Khoramov's torso, preventing him from escaping. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leon Scott Jr dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Scott Jr clinches up against the cage. Scott Jr pulls Khoramov into guard.
Scott Jr looking to hit a scissor sweep but Khoramov is one step ahead there. Scott Jr pulls Khoramov in close to his closed guard and prevents Khoramov from doing any damage or advancing position. Scott Jr's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott Jr has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott Jr uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Khoramov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Scott Jr darts in and clinches Khoramov up against the cage. Scott Jr stalling against the cage.
Khoramov misses with a knee strike.
Scott Jr lands a takedown into guard.
Scott Jr passes Khoramov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott Jr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Scott Jr decides to return to a standing position. Scott Jr takes the fight into the clinch. Scott Jr breaks from the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scott Jr darts in and clinches Khoramov up against the cage. Scott Jr has Khoramov pressed against the cage, preventing Khoramov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Scott Jr gets control of Khoramov's arms and successfully pulls guard. Scott Jr will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Scott Jr has his feet on Khoramov's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Khoramov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scott Jr. Scott Jr slips a jab and a cross from Khoramov.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott Jr looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Scott Jr seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Khoramov trying to hold on to Scott Jr's head to control him but Scott Jr postures up.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Scott Jr is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Khoramov doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Scott Jr.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott Jr controlling the action here. Scott Jr moves into full mount! Khoramov won't be happy about that! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Scott Jr is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Khoramov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Khoramov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Scott Jr anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Khoramov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Scott Jr slips an arm under Khoramov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Scott Jr has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Scott Jr is squeezing on Khoramov like an anaconda would it's prey. Khoramov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Leon Scott Jr! Leon Scott Jr is the new bantamweight champion!
