Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Alberto Quinonez (ranked 2982 p4p, 327 weight class) and Kyung Joong Ho (ranked 3740 p4p, 392 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinonez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joong Ho's waist but Joong Ho gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Quinonez off to one side.
Joong Ho unleashes a big counter combination but Quinonez bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Joong Ho lands a high kick!
Joong Ho throws a hook to the side of Quinonez's head but Quinonez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Quinonez throws a series of punches but Joong Ho moves out of range.
Joong Ho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Joong Ho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Joong Ho tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Quinonez paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Joong Ho throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Quinonez wants to take the fight to the mat but Joong Ho manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Quinonez keeps control of Joong Ho as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Quinonez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Joong Ho's efforts to push away.
Joong Ho is trying to break the clinch but Quinonez is controlling him.

Joong Ho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Whack! Joong Ho lands a heavy head kick that drops Quinonez. The ref tackles Joong Ho to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Quinonez was done.
