Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kush (ranked 7248 p4p, 592 weight class) and Geogia Forman (ranked 3485 p4p, 419 weight class). Geogia Forman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kush gets caught flat footed, as Forman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kush wriggles free and stands up.
Kush stuffs the takedown attempt from Forman. Forman gets slowly back to his feet.
Forman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kush did well to prevent Forman getting side control.
Well, if Forman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kush is trying to maintain the position but Forman is very close to passing his half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Forman closes the distance and clinches up with Kush, looking for a takedown. Forman pushes Kush against the cage but Kush circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Forman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kush looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Forman remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

You can see the frustration on Kush's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Forman is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Kush is trying to escape and Forman transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Kush is forced to tap! Nice work there by Forman! Very nice indeed!
