Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Holmes (ranked 3743 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Sionis (ranked 3394 p4p, 0 weight class). Sionis has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 31 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hank Holmes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
50 - 29 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roman Sionis! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Matheus Silva and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sionis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Holmes.
Holmes tries to move into range but Sionis moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Sionis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Holmes. Holmes scores with a takedown into Sionis's guard. Holmes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sionis dives on top into guard. Holmes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sionis is one step ahead there. Holmes looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Holmes looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Holmes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sionis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Holmes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Sionis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Holmes has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sionis has managed to get both his arms back between Holmes's legs - danger averted. Holmes trying to keep a closed guard but Sionis is proving a slippery customer.

Sionis is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Holmes has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sionis is looking to defend but Holmes has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sionis! Holmes pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sionis taps out and this one is all over!
