Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diogo Jimenez (ranked 3978 p4p, 212 weight class) and Steven Lurkman (ranked 2047 p4p, 122 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Jimenez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rodrigo Amarante - Tuyo. Diogo Jimenez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Steven Lurkman's chin.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez lands a high kick!
Lurkman misses with a hook. Jimenez ducked under it nicely.

Jimenez takes the fight into the clinch.

Jimenez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lurkman looks to land a left hand but Jimenez moved out of range nicely.
Jimenez tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lurkman manages to circle out of the way.
Jimenez lands a lovely overhand right.
Lurkman misses the shot to the body.
Lurkman throws a big shot that misses.
Lurkman sizes up Jimenez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lurkman throws out a loose jab but Jimenez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jimenez throws a lazy right hand but Lurkman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jimenez uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lurkman.
Jimenez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lurkman.
Lurkman on the wrong end of a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
That kick from Jimenez tenderised Lurkman's leg. Lurkman is trying to keep his angry face on.

Jimenez has managed to clinch.

Jimenez keeps control of Lurkman as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Jimenez is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Lurkman can't fight it off and eventually Jimenez manages to take the fight to the floor. Lurkman looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jimenez throws a sloppy strike and Lurkman uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Lurkman has ended up in Jimenez's guard.

Lurkman is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jimenez has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lurkman is looking to defend but Jimenez has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lurkman! Jimenez pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lurkman taps out and this one is all over!
