The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.
Jackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vick changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Vick sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jackson throws out a loose jab but Vick uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jackson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Vick goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.

Jackson leaves Vick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jackson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Vick is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Vick is defended easily by Jackson.

Jackson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
